Title: Re: Hard Day Post by: understandnow on February 28, 2016, 09:56:25 AM I am so sorry Eyeamme. BPD causes so much pain for families. Just know that we understand.

Title: Re: Hard Day Post by: Kwamina on February 29, 2016, 02:09:18 PM That's tough indeed
Acceptance is hard enough as it is and on days such as this it's particularly hard. How are you feeling today Eyeamme? Title: Re: Hard Day Post by: Eyeamme on February 29, 2016, 02:40:14 PM Thanks Wendydarlng and Kwamina. I am trying to practice Mindfulness :--)
Title: Re: Hard Day Post by: ProfDaddy on February 29, 2016, 04:38:29 PM T I am trying to practice Mindfulness :--) Sorry for your pain. I have found that mindfulness is helpful -- sometimes it is the only way to stop my own cycle of reactions, remorse, doubt, and self-judgment. Have you read any Pema Chodron? Title: Re: Hard Day Post by: Eyeamme on February 29, 2016, 06:23:16 PM ProfDaddy, I will read Pema Chodron. I am very much trying hard with Mindfulness. Thanks!
Title: Re: Hard Day Post by: ProfDaddy on February 29, 2016, 07:38:48 PM Pema Chodron's book "When Things Fall Apart" is a good one to start. Her teachings have helped me through some rocky times, but they're not for everyone. I hope you find reliable sources of comfort and perspective.
Title: Re: Hard Day Post by: Eyeamme on February 29, 2016, 07:50:15 PM Thanks. Same to you.
