Title: Setting boundaries
Post by: Black Raven3 on March 02, 2016, 10:35:32 PM
I want to learn more about allowing him to want what he wants (even if its very limiting to his life) without feeling that I have to help him financially. I feel guilty even though I see that his choices are causing his discomfort.

I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through. We have all bern in a similar boat like you. Try reading about Codependency in the lessons sectiin in the right hand side. It helped mebdefine my role, responsibilities & goal. Let us know what your boundary & goal looks like after reading.

Hi Blackraven3,  i have had difficulty understanding how to set boundaries.  The book that really broke it down for me was Boundaries:  When to say Yes, How to say No, to Take Control of Your Life. By Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. jTownsend.
