Title: miserable for decades with my brother
Post by: bigsadsis on March 06, 2016, 10:00:57 PM
I just signed up for this website, after reading some of the posts of others - I am profoundly moved by seeing similar patterns of rage and splitting.  Our parents are both dead, and I am convinced that one of my siblings suffers from BPD.  And I would say that I have suffered from his suffering for a huge part of my life.

Too sad right now to relive all the details, but I'm so grateful for what I've been reading.  For years I thought my conscience made no sense.

Hi bigsadsis,

*welcome*

I'm glad you decided to delurk  :)

When you say you thought that your conscience made no sense, do you mean that you always thought something was wrong, but felt guilty for thinking so?

Hi Bigsadsis

My bro has NPD, so I understand your frustration. How far down the recovery line are you with this realisation ? What helped me was to grieve the brother I should have had. I.e. one that showed some loyalty and respect. How far down the recovery path have you go with this ? Welcome.
