First time this ever came on the radio my ex heard it and said "Oh my god it's about me!" she was oddly proud of it too.

Yeah, that DOES sound familiar. However, I think that this and other articles like it seem to ascribe (either overtly or between the lines) conscious nefarious purpose to the BPD's actions. I don't think that's necessarily always the case.
