Title: Today is disclosure day
Post by: nona on March 07, 2016, 09:05:03 AM
DD13 has asked to go to her counselor, she came home from rotation custody

she has figured out her dad is crazy and abusing her and wants to tell authorities.

the first 24 hours I was happy and giddy. having waited 5 years in silence

now we are both having PTSD symptoms mine worse than hers.

Don't know what to expect.

we are both scared of if and what will happen if UBPDDAD finds out.

Dunno if the counselor with call the authorities?

thanks

I wouldn't expect a mountain to move after today. It's probably going to take some time and a bunch more fighting.

Have you consulted with a L on how to change custody?

Woo, that's a big change in your circumstance, nona.

Do courts let her (at her age) choose what she wants?

Where do things stand in terms of active custody litigation?

Did DD13 tell you what types of abuse she has endured?
