Title: I'm free to be a vegetarian
Post by: ropend on March 23, 2016, 06:01:07 AM
My poor mad sister and her sporadic hate of family members who ate meat is gone for good.

If I want to I can even become a vegan and not fear I'm somehow validating her.

Does anyone else have problems like this?

My parents, and more specifically much udBPD father, never let me have my own beliefs. They believed that I was religious despite the fact that I married a non-Christian, and had not gone to church in years. Since I went no contact I finally feel that I can exist and just be without having to always be on the defense.

BPD often have mechanisms for beating us up, as most people are meat eaters that’s a cunning one to use. Control is often a big issues with a BPD family. Control issues often manifest in eating disorders. My sis has one and is also vegetarian. Personally I only eat things that fall naturally from trees, like squirrels.  :)

I'm copying that joke.

My attempt to be a Vegetarian failed (this time) but there's no one around to attack this and if I choose to try again I'm free do to that too.  :)
