Last Oct I was forced to a trial for an appeal from xh on the modification of support ( child and spousal for him ) hearing that he wanted.  He got c/s lowered with me paying med ins. But ... .no spousal support for him.

The new ruling came back from the trial.  he receives $$ in credit for child support  (he still owes 4K in  arreages . But he still owes child support so it comes off the credit for about a year.

Then I owe to xh $$  in back spousal support which is being taken out immediatly from  my pay to him.

Thats going to take a few years for me to get that paid to him. 

In the order , there was an error as it had me paying support to present ( a different amount) but at the settlement trial /hearing#2 last year it was agreed on that no spousal to either from that date on.

Plus some other incorrect medical ins figures to be corrected.   

With those corrections , my L writes up as a motion to the Judge, the rest ... .accept it.


What does xh do... .file their own motion saying that xh's credit for child support needs to be much higher

His income is incorrect, wants it current , not the income he had in the years in question ,  the modification of support needs to go back further. Has S graduating this year and D a year sooner... .so no support there.   Um no... .they are not that gifted to graduate a year soone.

So back to court for this $, next step would be him appealing the order all together and head to superior court.

His past c/s was 525 a month for both kids. As I have said before , I paid the med ins ,plus upfront medical expenses , he never once paid his percentage.  Kids phones, extra activites, clothing etc. I paid

( I don't know what to do there, saying anything to them ,  they get very defensive of their dad)

The spousal support to him comes from a one time inheritance, capital gain, not from my jobs that I have now living paycheck to paycheck.   Mostly homemaker at time of filing .

So homemaker paying xh spousal support. Go figure. Just venting.

I'm sorry.   Money issues are so annoying. I wish they would just abolish the idea of child support and spousal support and just divide up the medical/school/activity expenses for the kids evenly.

Yes,  The money I had to spend on litigation could of sported the kids .  During settlement of assets, he wanted spousal support added on. He and his L kept demanding it. So I offered no spousal support to him and no child support to me, except split medical .  Obviously he refused it.
