Title: first post - mom with undiagnosed BPD
Post by: srarahcha on March 31, 2016, 05:24:51 PM
Hi, I just found this forum/website. I'm looking for a support group - I would love to be able to discuss my experiences and hear other's who have had mom's with BPD. I'm in the LA area - and I haven't been able to find one yet. Is there a resource that has a list of support groups?

Thank you for any help.

Welcome to our online family Srarahcha

I'm very glad you have found us! We are an online family who share about our experiences from the effects of someone in our lives (most commonly) who has BPD or BPD characteristics. My mom was an uBPD, and I am learning and healing from growing up in a family with so much dysfunction.

I'm from the Midwest so can't direct you to a group in CA, but perhaps some of the other members may be able to help. I know you will find tons of support here and helpful listening ears.

You mention your mom has BPD.  Do you still live at home? Tell us more of your experience if you can.  Have you read any information about BPD that has been helpful to you?

Looking forward to hearing more of your story.

Look into your local NAMI:

I'd also be interested in hearing more details and how we can support you, even from afar
