I am a new-ish member w/a 16yr old BPDD. We have had quite the trying year and a half. I will post a story at some point. Do any of you have experience in teen suicide? My D's friend completed last year (anniversary next week) and I wanted to reach out for some insight / ideas. We have been working with her social worker @ RTC in preparation. It will be a school day, (she attends an alternative HS) and she and I are planning an art class and dinner in the evening. We've also talked about planting a tree in memory @ our home (once the weather breaks). Any and all ideas, comments are welcome. I just don't want to make a mistake. The plans you have sound lovely. My only advice would be to let your d take the lead on that day and adjust plans accordingly. lbj |
