Title: BPD family, BPD Breakup Mix Post by: Ahoy on May 04, 2016, 02:46:02 AM OK, I'm making a "BPD breakup" playlist on spotify.
Before you say anything no it's not for listening outside in the park at night in the pouring rain... . The plan is to put something together full of my (maybe our) most motivational 'go to' songs, something we can chuck on when we are at the gym, going for a drive, having a s**t day that might help make us feel better about the future AND remind us that we are a strong community. Once it's on spotify, anyone with the app can play it on their phone. SO, if you would like to add to my playlist, please give me song suggestions, as many as you want any genre/style will be considered EXCEPT for death/speed metal and YOKO ONO Here are some of my choices https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8ofhjI6ODc Twin Shadow - To the top. This is my #1 go to song for feeling better https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKL4X0PZz7M First aid Kid - My silver lining https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbN0nX61rIs Florence + the machine - Shake it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xe3RqgnXaT4 Colin Hay - Beautiful world Any suggestions would be awesome! I took a drive today Time to emancipate I guess it was the beatings... .made me wise But I'm not about to give thanks, or apologize I couldn't breathe, holdin' me down Hand on my face, pushed to the ground Enmity gauged, united by fear Forced to endure what I could not forgive... . I seem to look away Wounds in the mirror waved It wasn't my surface... .most defiled Head at your feet, fool to your crown Fist on my plate, swallowed it down Enmity gauged, united by fear Tried to endure what I could not forgive Saw things Saw things Saw things Saw things Clearer Clearer Once you, were in my... . Rearviewmirror... . I gather speed from you F'ing with me Once and for all I'm far away I hardly believe, finally the shades... .are raised... . Saw things so much clearer (Once you, once you) Rearviewmirror... . To throw a bit of a rock theme to it, how about the following: Shinedown - Cut the Cord https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RR1aKkHhM0E "Cause agony brings no reward For one more hit and one last score Don't be a casualty, cut the cord" Could be the motto of my life right now regarding BPD Title: Re: BPD family, BPD Breakup Mix Post by: HurtinNW on May 04, 2016, 04:44:56 PM Frazey Ford, ":)one."
