Title: Predictable
Post by: harleyquinn on May 07, 2016, 06:14:02 PM
So it's been 5 weeks since I left my ex who I suspect has BPD and I learnt today that he is in a new relationship... .I'm surprisingly ok about it. I think through the help of this forum it helped me to expect it. I'm shocked that it was so quick though... .do you suspect he was already prepping his replacement whilst he was with me or is this normal behaviour?

If your relationship was on the outs, he was quite probably shopping for a replacement. From what I read though, BPDs often keep orbiters, 'friends' on the side ready to step in to the relationship role at a moments notice. It's not cool either way, for many BPDs they simply can't be alone.
