Title: A lesson in no contact Post by: Frank88 on May 10, 2016, 08:21:31 AM I was reminded the hard way that no contact also involves contact with their friends. A simple conversation with a mutual friend resulted in the ex making contact and setting me back a bit in recovering. I have to remind myself to just not engage with anyone regarding the ex, ever. Words get twisted and then you're back feeling like you have to defend yourself again. It is just not worth it. There is never closure. No matter how many times you tell your side of the story, they will always change it. Its a no win situation.
