Title: New relationship and social media Post by: KarmasReal on May 24, 2016, 03:00:53 AM Hey guys,
This is a question I've been wondering for sometime. It may feel like a game play to you, maybe it is, I'm not sure. Have you all worried or encountered things from your exBPD if you post new relationship pics to social media? We haven't really spoken in a month and our break up was bad. Just wondering if this would have any type of impact one way or another, based on you thoughts or previous experience. Thanks guys! I stopped posting a lot of things about what I was doing as I didn't want my pwBPD to see, especially checking myself into places. This actually turned into a positive for me because I created a new habit of not posting stuff.
My view of Facebook is changing. I don't need to post photos or check into places to show people how I live my life. I don't need to advertise a new relationship - that's personal to me and my partner. I also don't need the validation of 50 likes lol I do have family and friends overseas that I keep in contact with - now I send them photos via messenger. That way, it's personal and I choose who I share it with. Bottom line... .I don't NOT post things because of my ex anymore, I just don't do it because I don't want to, or need to :) Title: Re: New relationship and social media Post by: once removed on May 24, 2016, 08:17:22 AM Just wondering if this would have any type of impact one way or another, based on you thoughts or previous experience. Thanks guys! it might. most people cyber peek. it doesnt tend to feel good to see an ex moving on, as stories here will attest to. my ex never reacted to anything i posted, as far as i know. |
