Title: Harrassing phone calls to my work
Post by: adventurer on June 17, 2016, 02:56:00 PM
I moved out and have kept my location secret to avoid stalking.  I have been emailing my wife every day or two and have told her I am fine, just unhappy with the marriage.

I work remotely, but she has twice called my workplace hq, once last week, once this week, asking if I still worked there, saying noone knew where I was and everyone was wondering if I was ok.

Is there a way to fix this?  Restraining order?  Police report?  My attorney is out until next monday.

While your attorney is out notify your Human Resources Department (and Security Department if your employer has one) about your situation, they will work with you ie: not transfer her calls to you,  protect your information if you ask them etc.

I would start there until your attorney returns.

Thanks,

I notified HR and my boss the day I left my wife - hoping that I was being paranoid and that this wouldn't be necessary.

I was hoping for the best but I have done everything I have been able to prepare for the worst - it appears to be headed down that road.

My lawyer was still in the office, he's going to start with a  cease and desist.
