So last night I had my first dream/nightmare which I've read is common when coming out of the fog from these relationships.i was laying down to sleep and almost at the lucid stage when I hear my phone go off,I answer it half asleep and it's her and we talk about small stuff then I ask her about what she wants to do with the rest of her stuff here that makes it so she keeps a foot in the door,I hear silence then she hangs up. I kinda snap out of it a little and realize it never happened and I'm lying on my side with no phone almost asleep on my pillow. I find this interesting because for the first time since our split I met someone online and was texting them actively last night and I was feeling so happy about it,for the first time in over a month I was truly happy and excited again. Anyways kind of venting just thought it was interesting.

I was actually going to post a question regarding dreams after the breakup/going through the fog. I've had pretty vivid dreams about things, more than usual. Lots of symbolism involved as well as having convos with the ex or their relatives I my dreams. Pretty interesting even though I would prefer not to be thinking about the ex while I'm sleeping. Meh!

Yea I believe I saw reference to these fog like dreams here in the tools/resource section or something. It certainly was wierd and then go figure the next day the new girl doesn't message me back anymore and I see my ex spent the day awfully close to a new "candidate" man I really wish I could just catch a break,really feeling down and wore out from all the negatives and loneliness.

That is the danger of a new relationship so soon. Even someone new not textir us back can trigger us after the rejection of BPDex.

As for the dreams - perfectly normal. I had a dream recently that I was in a house with two ladies. I went to bed alone and one followed me. She was a girl I knew 23 years ago. She tried to come into bed with me and I panicked.

I figured it was me telliing me I wasnt ready.

Yea it's not exactly a new relationship just a new girl to start as friends with but its true because I now feel really down about not hearing anything back from her,meanwhile my ex is on to her second guy in less then a month. I just went and threw the engagement/wedding ring I got her in the river,ugh really just need a lift me up.

Just read that statement again. If you think anything from her to those guys are genuine, you are missing the bigger picture.

It's not a competition to see who can score the next bedfellow.

I know it's not genuine and I'm not just looking for a lay,just someone to spend time with,but I saw another picture of her and this new guy and man it just really stings as I sit here alone,like it just gets worse.
