Title: Adult daughter with a BPD mom - can anyone relate? Post by: TargetOfRage on July 08, 2016, 04:04:59 PM I'm new to this site and wondering if anyone else is in a similar situation and would like to share experiences?

Many of our members (including me) have a BPD parent so can definitely relate to that experience. It can be very challenging dealing with a BPD parent. Could you perhaps tell us a bit more about your experiences? What are the main BPD traits you see in your mother? Has your mother been diagnosed with BPD, has she perhaps ever gotten any kind of treatment for her issues? Your name speaks for itself ;-) Yes, I think *everyone* here will relate to your story, if you wish to share it. My mum is BPD, so is my grandma (my dad's mother). It's cathartic to share here, and people here will listen and understand - we've been in similar shoes, even if the fit is a bit different for us all. |
