Title: What changes did you observe before becoming the desirable Post by: FallBack!Monster on July 13, 2016, 06:25:08 PM I for one, noticed her stressed level was very high. Always complaining of something, which is strange because I've read that most on this board complain that there was something always wrong with their ex but not me. She complained of everything at the end. migraines, toothache (very often), leg pain, back pain, a few more which I can't remember atm.
Complained about the news, would often tell me or read me stories posted on fb, of people she never met and what terrible thing happened. that sort of things. Once said, even before I realized she was discarding me, that she would like to do something really nice to me "before we part." I didn't comment but she caught me by surprise. Or maybe because she caught me by surprise with that comment. She would tell me about every negative gossip she heard at work or back in her hometown. These were topics we normally wouldn't talk about. About a month later, she started to distant herself. The biggest surprise for me was when "suddenly" and I mean suddenly, SHE BECAME SELF SUFFICIENT. The helpless act had disappeared. It was sort of a turn on an a scary feeling at the same time. Other changes, she began to only contact me during the evening hours (after 9 pm) unless she wanted to hangout that night, or for me to accompany her somewhere during the day. Otherwise, if I called or text I wouldn't get any reply or answer the entire day time period. Before what I will call, "the sudden change in personality", she called me or txt all day. Except for when she was out of town, then I wouldn't hear from her at all. No matter if the trip was as long as a weekend or 2 weeks. I'm getting off the subject here. I have a lot on my mind right now. But I'm trying. What changes did you observe before you were discarded? Title: Re: What changes did you observe before becoming the desirable Post by: GreenEyedMonster on July 13, 2016, 06:34:20 PM The biggest clue for me was that he wanted to things without me, and increasingly justified "having our own lives" in conversation. This was after being together for only about 3 months. That is supposed to be the happy time when you're both thrilled to be with each other and want to do everything together. That's how I felt about him, anyway. When he preferred to go out without me, go on vacation without me, and could justify doing things he knew I wanted to do alone, I knew I was being devalued.
