Title: What's with the past lives stuff? Post by: OopsIDidItAgain on July 23, 2016, 09:56:58 PM I've had two of them now tell me we were together in past lives. Is this a common thing? I've felt the soulmate vibe with people before but it seems like something both my diagnosed BPD ex said to me and my more current undiagnosed said to me within weeks of meeting me.

Post by: flourdust on July 24, 2016, 01:30:02 PM Can't say I've heard this one before, but if you set aside the New Age beliefs, it sounds like an attempt to force closer togetherness with you and prevent abandonment. After all, if you're eternal soulmates, then you certainly can't break up with her.
