Title: Finding the grey in the world of black and white thinking Post by: findthegrey on July 25, 2016, 06:01:11 PM I have a mother with BPD and am trying to connect with others who also have friends and family with BPD. I am also on a mission to spread awareness and help those with BPD find the grey in their world of seeing things in black and white.

I know that coming here people will already have an idea of what I am talking about, and will be less likely to simply dismiss my life experiences as too crazy to be real. You’ve certainly found the right place, as black and white thinking is soo BPD. I also find we children of BPD parents tend to have more empathy, and are less judgemental than most. So feel free to validate your feelings, or discuss odd BPD behaviour, as isilme states it won’t be dismissed. I remember posting about how my BPD spat in my face now and then, only to find several other had “spitters” as parents and an explanation as to why they do this. We're supposed to find more grey (hair) as we get older, but you right a BPD won't (their hair is perfect). But that's just part of it, what other issues have you been grappling with ?
