Title: My exgf is breaking, maybe
Post by: JerryRG on August 31, 2016, 06:06:00 AM
Hello everyone

Got a series of texts yesterday from my exgf

Her new bf is extremely verbally abusive, she's trying to get away from him, she knows she needs to get help to change her life.

She said she knows now that I was right all along.

And guess who she's begging to see, meet with to discuss these new circumstances?

You guessed it

After all this time, my hard work on detatching, my caring for our son alone, paying for everything, while she sleeps and pretends her life is so perfect.

I'm not angry, I'm pleased she may see for this one day, the wreckage of her life choices.

My fear is, I've heard her speak these words before.

Does she really want to change, to get her life back. Or is this all just empty words just to get me back?

Our son sleeps quietly beside me as I write this, he and I are at peace, we will live as best we can. We will move forward with our lives. We will pray for his mother.

We will not be fooled by words again, the only thing that has any worth is actions. Words are cheap.

I hope everyone is doing better. Have an awesome day, find the good amongst all the difficulty...

Thank you all for your help, kind words of support, experience, wisdom and hope.

God bless you all!
