Title: What do you call a pwBPD that exhibits all three cluster traits? Post by: Looking2Heal on September 07, 2016, 12:15:02 PM Hypothetically, what do you call a undiagnosed pwBPD that exhibits most BPD cluster b traits, along with some cluster a and cluster c traits? Is it a triple co-morbidity?

I don't think there is a title for that. I guess you would just say they possess multi cluster B traits. I think we need to be careful to not diagnose the issues we THINK our exes possessed. We are not doctors and everyone is different. What we do have control over is our feelings. Why did we stay in these relationships? BPD or not, they were toxic. Do we truly need a diagnosis or can we just say it was a shi_ _ y relationship and we deserved/deserve better? Title: Re: What do you call a pwBPD that exhibits all three cluster traits? I think it would depend on the dominant disorder and how severe the traits where. If each trait is on a 1-10 scale 5 being dissordered they could score 6 for all BPD traits but hit 10 for say 6 NPD traits. They do not have the full package in regards to NPD but it is more severe. Out of the 36 ( I think) cluster b traits my ex wife scored 29 (I my unproffessional opinion). I could consider her NPD or HPD as she is probaly diagnosable for both but BPD seems to me to be the most prevelant. |
