Post by: James509 on November 09, 2016, 01:40:07 PM
I have came full circle here. I can't believe how accurate this sight is on this issue of not contact and all the the other lies in I have told myself. Thirty one days post split.

Hi James-

You do it by not communicating with your ex in any way.  What issues are preventing you from doing that?

Hi James, do not respond, do not contact, very simple. If you have children that's different. I don't contact Xw only to let her know I'm on my way to pick up s10 and that is by text. We had pick up arrangements made 2 weeks ago, it was done by text than she decided to call, she called 3 times back to back. Xw has no reason to call. If Xw has anything to say she can text or email.

This is what I'm trying to set up with my ex. Only difference is we live far apart and we have an infant, he wants to have video chats with him but it always ends up into an argument . Do you think it would be a good idea to just email him pictures and recordings of our son instead of video chat ? I can't do the video chats anymore. Id love to go full NC

That's a tough one. Maybe set up video chat times and go third part. Get someone you know and trust with your child, set up guide lines and a set time and go out for a coffee. When you come back the video chat is over. Just a thought.
