Title: Daughter with BPD Post by: Topsy on November 24, 2016, 04:21:24 PM Hello I new here, my daughter has been struggling for years, she 28 still living at home, and has BPD, I struggling cope, with her black and white thinking, and all doom and gloom , she has just come out of another failed relationship, and she has given up , on ever being happy, it so hard to cope

To the right of this page you will find some lessons and tools that are very useful when dealing with a person with BPD (pwBPD). I personally found that reading others stories and the suggestions within those posts to be very helpful in understanding a lot about the situation. It also let me know that I was not alone! You seem to state that your daughter has BPD as if she has been diagnosed... .is that correct? Have you sought a therapist to help YOU deal with YOU and your wellbeing through this process? Many of us here have found a competent T to be worth their weight in gold! Sharing was very therapeutic in my process as well. I learned the more I shared, the more I got in return. Let us know some more specifics about your situation, the more we know the more input we can give!
