Title: She's always a woman.
Post by: confusedbloke on November 26, 2016, 10:17:28 AM
Just listened to she's always a woman by Billy Joel.

Wow. Does that sum up my ex BPD gf.

Had to listen a few times... .always loved that song but never really listened to the words.

I had to actually pinch myself as it is exactly her personality... .wow... .

Was your ex always a woman to you confused?  And what does that mean, what is Joel saying in that song?  That she can get away with all kinds of behavior, but hey, she's always a woman so that's OK?  And who is Joel talking to when he says "blame it all on yourself 'cause she's always a woman to me"?  Another suitor or a replacement?  Interesting to hear songs anew that we've heard for a long time, and what can we take from that insight?
