Title: Help needed Post by: Cotopaxi on November 30, 2016, 11:38:21 PM My wife of 13 years has BPD and I could use some advice and support. I have been seeing a therapist for the last 3 months and I finally feel like someone understands the upside down world I live in. We have 4 children together and I would like to stay married for the children although I find our relationship to be incredibly difficult and frustrating. She had an affair for almost 2 years that ended 2 years ago. I am putting the pieces back together and learning to take care of myself again although it isn't easy. I am the sole breadwinner and she stays home with the kids. We could use some extra income although she absolutely refuses to work in any capacity even though she has a masters degree, the loans for which I am still paying off.
Where do I start? Are there support groups? I have been in marraige counseling with her with 3 separate therapists over as many years and it has always been an awful experience for me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Title: Re: Help needed Post by: Turkish on December 05, 2016, 12:37:42 AM Affairs are tough (understatement of the year).
What happens to switch therapists or stop therapy? How old are the kids, and what do you see how things are affecting them? Title: Re: Help needed Post by: flourdust on December 05, 2016, 07:40:55 AM Is she seeing any kind of therapist?
