Title: Theraputic Visits Post by: Mika1739 on December 05, 2016, 11:04:14 PM Anybody have experience with court ordered theraputic visitation? I have the kids full custody and BPD x is struggling to get a very simple therapy appointment set up. Anyway our first appointment is soon.

The court order is protection for you and the children. With BPD, even little boundary exceptions tend to enable or encourage more boundary pushing. Yes, there are times for exceptions but they should be few and far between. If an exception continues and becomes the 'new normal' it will be hard to reinstate that boundary. It's tough. It's tough either way you look at it, both are hard on the child. |
