Title: desperate to talk to someone who has had an adult child with borderline
Post by: Hopefully22 on December 13, 2016, 09:33:19 PM
My adult child has been diagnosed with BPD and we are having a lot of difficulty talking to her.  Is there someone who can give us some hope. I have read 'stop walking on eggshells' and watched some videos but nothing seems to be working. Please help. Thanks

Hi Hopefully22,

Difficulty with communication is pretty common here!

How old is your child? Does she live with you?

Is she accepting the BPD diagnosis?

What are some examples of how you communicate, where things aren't working?
