Title: How do I rebuild confidence? Post by: Moselle on December 27, 2016, 07:10:19 AM At various periods in my life I have had a lot of confidence. Actually for long periods of my life.
I am desperate to really change things around for 2017, so I'm doing some heavy planning and goal setting exercises. It's exciting to build the blueprint of a new life. How have you built the confidence to deliver on the plans? Title: Re: How do I rebuild confidence? I've never really lacked for confidence and always believed in my capabilities. I just feel a bit flat going into 2017. I've really worked hard in my life and it feels like I'm starting from scratch. Recovery from this stuff emotionally is taking a lot longer than I thought. Maybe to answer my own question. 1. Let go of the stuff that's holding me back. Bitterness, anger, see section of injustice. 2. In cricket parlance "Build an Innings". Every sportsperson has a slump at some stage. Instead of trying to hit the ball out the park, string a few small wins together to build momentum. Start small , celebrate all the small things which add up. Be patient and get your eye in. 3. I my plans I should build in some all goals. Not just the big ones. A deposit build up to the big ones. Bit of charge management |
