I am on a journey to try to help improve/save my relationship with my SO who may be a very high functioning male with BPD. My counselor says a male with BPD is much more rare - lucky me, huh? *welcome* I'm sorry to hear that. Thats good that the T is observant enough to spot an invisible disorder and it's even tougher when the person is high functioning. Many members had T's that didn't catch on with the triangulation, persecution complex, projections etc. I'm glad that you decided, to join us, you'll find mammy members here that can relate with you and offer you guidance and support. You're not alone. The lessons are on the right side of the board. Is he in therapy with you? Does he have a separate T? How long have you been together? Do you have kids together? |
