Title: Should I expect silence? Post by: Openhearted321 on December 28, 2016, 12:54:12 PM Alright after a couple of days of no contact I had to unfortunately reach out to my so called "ex" to make sure he was following up on his end of this breakup that he so desperately wanted. Weirdly enough he called me back after leaving a detailed message about the nature of my call. He initially pretended to be aloof but once I asked him to do something to signify the breakup on my end he flipped. He started accusing me of all this money I needed to return in order for him to fulfil my request. He even went as far as bringing my mom into the group message only to tell me to have a nice life and not to bother him or his daughter. I immediately apologized for upsetting him and stating that it wasn't my intention to do so. But all I have gotten is silence. He most likely has read my texts and is choosing to not respond. At this point I really do just want to talk to him and have a civil conversation, yet the moment he opens his mouth he tells me things that I know are untrue such as " that he is getting the best sleep ever since I am out of his life." Should I take that his silence is cause he is hurting? Should I try to continue to communicate? Is there any tips suggestions for getting him to talk to me or not be so upset about all of this?
