I took the test and posted earlier my results. I thought it be interesting to also do test for my bf's severely BPD etc mom and see her results and see differences. I was a lil surprised at results but not so much how our test results differed. Wondering what others also think of my bf's 53yr old severely BPD etc mom's results & what results mean.

I've takent this test once in the past and now. I am always surprised that I will tolerate the verbal abuse from my pwBPD because I score so high on Healthy Adult and Happy CHild. At the same time I guess the other schemas I use are just enough to allow me to put up with it, especially the Compliant Surrender. I also scored higher than average in self aggrandizer. I love the idolize phase and it makes me feel very special. I know I tend to have a few narcissistic tendencies. I read somewhere that people that tend narcissistic are often drawn to people with BPD.

THese results are very consistent with my relationship being the ONLY place where I have a hard time standing up for myself, feeling adequate, and having chaos.

Is this when you go into your compliant surrender schema?

Yes. WHen he gets worked up it's easier to just let him have his way than to fight against it. Working on teaching myself that it's ok to just let him be mad and for me to still maintain control of my life at the same time.
