Title: Daughter of BP Mother
Post by: SarahBeth on January 01, 2017, 08:49:10 PM
I am 28, and just beginning my journey of working through all the feelings that came from being raised by a mother with BPD. I was just looking to talk to some people that have gone through this too.

Hi SarahBeth and welcome.  You are definitely in the right place to speak with others who also have a mother with BPD.  You will get lots of support and information here as we can all relate on one level or another.

What sort of things are you hoping to learn about or work on?  Can you give us a few more details about your situation so we can help you more specifically?

Looking forward to interacting with you further on the board.  Oh yeah, make sure you look to the right at the Survivors Guide.  Each list item is clickable and gives a more thorough explanation/description.  also at the top of this board there is a post titled Lessons.  that has tons of information about BPD, dealing with pwBPD (people with BPD) and links to communication tools that can make interacting with pwBPD a bit easier over time.  all the information can be a bit overwhelming so take your time and hang with us a do a bit of reading as the mood strikes.

Take good care.

*welcome*

I'm glad you've decided to join us. This community has helped me a lot as I have worked to learn about boundaries and healthy relationships. Harri's pointed you to some good resources. Is there anything in particular you'd like to talk about?

Wishing you peace,

PF
