Title: Combat ready
Post by: Aesir on January 01, 2017, 11:23:18 PM
When I was with my ex it had gotten to a point that I was prepared for a fight. Tactics and subjects were all rehearsed.  When she did not start one at times it  threw me off balance.

I'm not a fighter by nature and usually avoid conflict at all cost. But I did feel like every time I found out another lie I would panic right before I questioned him and be prepared for a fight for my sanity. He always had a way of twisting facts so I was doubting what was real.

My ex twisted facts in her favor too.  Sometimes I would let things slide to avoid a argument. I was combat ready as a measure of defense.
