Title: Please take yourself seriously
Post by: sad but wiser on January 15, 2017, 08:26:03 AM
Hello everyone,
I just read a terribly tragic article about a woman who took her own life and the life of her infant son.  She posted a letter on Facebook just prior to doing this, and it was very familiar to me. The isolation, walking on eggshells, devaluing behaviors of her husband had.left her feeling she had no.choice.  How well I remember feeling that way!  How often I considered driving the car off a cliff and ending the terrible pain!
So, today I want to say, please take your feelings seriously.  There is something wrong if you are considering suicide.  Talk to us, get help from a counselor!  Suicude hotlines are often shut down or unmanned.  This forum is not.  Someone is always here.  While you wait for a.reply, read posts others have left and know you are not alone.  You have options.  How different that story might have been had that woman come here for help!
