Title: Introduction Post by: Pattieo3 on January 22, 2017, 08:45:31 AM Hello, new here. My husband of 19 years was recently diagnosed after having a psychotic break. He is now living out of the home. We have 3 kids ages 19, 15 and 13. Looking for support, advice and friendship from others who are going through this.

Support at times like these is so important. |iiii You'll definitely find members here who have been in similar situations, and understand what you are going through. The site also has tons of resources and tools to help make things better. When you can, tell us a bit more of your story. Is your husband being treated for BPD? How are you and your children coping? It really helps to share. We're here for you. heartandwhole Title: Re: Introduction Post by: Mutt on January 22, 2017, 10:10:21 AM Hi Patieo3
*welcome* I'd like to join heartandwhole and welcome you to bpdfamily. I'm sorry to hear that. Have family and friends been supportive? Are you seeing a T? Are the kids seeing a T? You're not alone. Did your kids experience it too?
Any thoughts on what precipitated the psychosis? Usually there is a serious degree of separation stress, from what I gather. How are you doing? Glad you found the site :) LnL |
