And yes - there is no solution unfortunately. If you ask for fairness - you will be told you are controlling. If you try to leave - you are abandoning, abusive and unloving. I know you have a reputation you want to rebuild, and you have told me about this personally, but there really is no helping, understanding, or fixing this person and the more time you spend trying to understand her and the things that she does, the more she's going to hurt you and the more you will suffer... Distance yourself from them and move on. It's not worth it.
