Title: BPD Mothers with Supervised Visits
Post by: jenbren2006 on February 08, 2017, 11:19:58 AM
Wondering if any of men out there have won custody cases where the outcome is the BPD mother has only supervised visits and what state you are in?

We have a parental advocate for my husbands children who during the first custody trial recommended to the judge that the mother only get one weekend a month supervised visits.  The judge ignored her request and left it at 50/50 custody and we've been living a nightmare since.  She harasses everyone and has alienated the children so terribly bad.  It has gotten ten times worse in the last year and a half.  My husband and I have recently moved to Washington State so there will be another custody battle sometime in the spring or summer.  We are asking the advocate to testify that things have gotten worse.  The court is in Colorado and so far everything has been judged terribly wrongly so I don't have much hope but wondering if there are any situations out there where the judge did the right thing and gave supervised visits with BPD mom?

Hi jenbren2006.

Was the parental advocate appointed by the court in Colorado? How is custody working now that you have moved? What sorts of behaviors did the parental advocate's report describe, or was that report sealed? Has your husband retained an attorney in Colorado?
