Title: Long continuous dysregulation Post by: Ells on January 03, 2025, 03:43:31 AM My daughter has been intense and manic continuously for weeks; we ended up in hospital on Monday and there was a break and then she got ill and it’s back to anger and manic behaviour.

Quick question though- why do you have to go "support her"? In what areas does she require support if she's in a medical facility with trained professionals? I ask because it's so easy for us to think, "Our kid's problem is our problem." That's not true though, you only answer for you. Your kid answers for herself, even if she's still a minor. It doesn't change the fact that right is right, and wrong is wrong. If she's doing wrong, then you have nothing to actually support except yourself. If she's in a hospital, take a break, enjoy the sunset, and let her problems be her problems. |
