Title: New
Post by: Gennie on March 16, 2025, 08:19:04 AM
Hello all.  I’m new here.

I always wondered why I was different. It took a long time to discover in my 30s a diagnosis of BPD made by a psychiatrist.  Looked up the meaning and thought, That’s not me at all.  A few decades later, Quiet BLD came up in search results.  WHAM!!  Me to a T.

Just saying hello. I’m 72 and, sadly, qBPD has not gone away. I live a very solitary life.  And it’s okay. Blessings to you all.

Hi Gennie and thank you for your post
I had heard the name 'quiet BPD' but didn't know much about it - so your post sent me looking.

Gosh you have had to deal with a lot over so many years. The internal turmoil must be huge.

There is a small note of optimism in your post and I really admire you for that Gennie. It takes a lot to suffer a lot and still be able to see some ray of light - even a tiny one.

Congratulations on being 72 - and being who you are.
