Post by: Rosa Azul on September 09, 2025, 09:03:45 AM
I've been married since 2018. My wife suffers from BPD, and I don't know what to do anymore. Last year, she cheated on me with our church pastor and said it was my fault. I forgave her and have been trying. I've studied a little about borderline personality disorder. I have a 24-year-old daughter who is in the maternity ward with my second granddaughter. I brought my first granddaughter to stay at our house. She's 1 year old, but my wife called the child Satan yesterday. At three in the morning, she tried to attack the child, pulled the pacifier, and the blanket. She woke the girl screaming. My granddaughter cried a lot, and I took her out of our room and went to sleep with my granddaughter in the office. I don't know what to do.

Translated:
The priority right now is to care for the grandchildren, including your daughter, as best you can, they need tender care and protection.  Your spouse is an adult and therefore is not as much a priority as the babies are at this time.

This website has excellent peer support with years of tools, communication skills, and time-tested strategies that focus on the many issues that family members face in BPD scenarios.
