Title: Hello

My girlfriend was just diagnosed with BPD. We have an extremely healthy relationship we rarely fight and when we have issues we talk it out. I understand with her hypersensitivity you have to refrain from using absolutes and when explaining myself about how I feel. I have to carefully structure my words in a way to make it seem like it's a mutual issue when at times it isn't. It's hard, but I try to be understanding at all times even when it hurts. She's an amazing woman and I love her with all my heart and she's amazing at what she does. She brings the best out of me and thanks to her I'm in college on the GI bill and I'm currently working on being a cop. I just need some advice on how to handle BPD and what to do when she's upset. She has anxiety attacks and I've read and studied on how to handle them and so far it's going well. I know BPD isn't her, it's just another beautiful facet of her that we can work on. I would just like to know where to start and what books to read.

What upsets her and how does she react?  How do you respond now?
