Title: Introduction

Hello,

I am new to this site.  I joined to get some guidance on handling situations with my BPD spouse.  I am recently retired which has provided us much more time together.  My stress level has significantly increased because of this.  I look forward to the resources and support from this site.

Hi Trust,

WElcome to the board. Congratuations on retirement! I hope you will find a lot of helpful information and support here. LIfe changing events can be stressful as it is and I can imagine that living with a pwBPD adds even more stress to the sitaution, especially when it creates increased time together. It's important to udnerstand that this is also probably an adjusgment time for your spouse too.

We have several workshops on the right side of the page that can teach you ways to communicate better with your pwBPD and also ways to help take care of yourself. Stress can really eat away at you so self care is top priority. Here's a link to one of our workshops on What it means to take care of yourself.
