Title: My Horrid Parents
Post by: Mitchell on March 14, 2017, 07:53:08 AM
 :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

It was a war a daily war, my mother constantly manipulated not only me but everyone around her & she was good at it.
the mood swings were also constant I could never second guess what I'd come home too?

Yeah I'm as good as I'll ever be, the one thing it has given me is not only can I see the horizon but I can see beyond it. I am now an old man looking back. I now fully understand & would like to help others as I have the insight & knowledge.

My goal is to get this message out a need for people to talk to others in similar circumstances

This is a new site in the UK:-

This was written about in the Guardian

Welcome to our horrid parent website. We are here to help you navigate the difficult and often isolating relationship with a difficult parent.

This is in line with what I'm trying to make people aware off. I hope this will raise this enormous problem and then maybe just maybe we will see services. I think this is beyond the NHS funding etc.But if there was some kind of campaign to make people aware of these sites then we could provide our own services as in counselling etc. it could be 50% funded & 50% self-finance or whatever shape it took
PD's must be a core issue within myhorridparent

Hey Mitchell
Good to see you again.  How are things going?

Thanks for sharing: www.myhorridparents.com

Looks like a fairly new website.  I saw some resource links for the UK on one of the pages.
