Title: Sad Post by: Mailer3775 on March 31, 2017, 05:54:42 PM Found this website surfing about information on BPD. Have been struggling with my daughter in law for the past 16 years. Read a post and our stories were so similar it was scary. Glad to see I'm not alone. Will read more post to get better understanding what is happening. Thank you for existing.

I'm so sorry you've been struggling with your daughter in law for all this time, that's hard for you. It helps to know you are far from alone, you've come to the right place for support, understanding and resources. Joining the forum provided me that starting point I needed in order to gently move forwards with my 28DD and I hope you find the same. When you have time check out the tools and lessons to the right |---> great practical guidance about how we can change our approach to help improve our relationship with our loved ones. There's also the book club, here's some top recommendations - my present go to is Loving Someone with Borderline Personality Disorder, Stop Walking on Eggshells is very popular too... Book Reviews - Top Recommendations (https://bpdfamily.com/content/book-reviews). What happening with your DIL? Posting really helps, this is a safe space to share the load and gain support. Good to meet you Mailer3775. WDx Title: Re: Sad Post by: livednlearned on April 04, 2017, 01:52:38 PM Hi Mailer3775,
It can be a real eye-opener to realize all these confusing behaviors belong to BPD. How long has your DIL been in your life? Any grandkids involved? How is your son holding up? Glad you found the site and hope you'll post more. It really does help. LnL |
