Hello. I just joined this site in hopes of better understanding my partner. He has never been formally diagnosed with BPD, but displays many of the traits- thought patterns and behaviors. I'm looking to see if I can gain a better understanding of what I can do when things get rough and how to best diffuse big blowups, etc.

Hi Poet *welcome*,

I hope you are able to learn a lot from this board. It's so nice having a community to share our troubles with and to gain insight into how to work on improving things with our pwBPD. We have a lot of lessons on the right side of the page. I would suggest you start there to learn a little more about BPD, how to communicate better, and how to take care of yourself while in a relationship with someone with BPD. Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Hi Poet24,

*welcome*

I'd like to join Tattered Heart and welcome you to the group. What types of BPD behaviors do you see with your partner? Can you tell us a little more about what is going on?
