Title: Love in Action
Post by: Numarian on April 15, 2017, 05:19:43 AM
Hello All,
I have two adult children diagnosed with this struggle. My 26 y.o. son is faring better however my 31 y.o. daughter is being steered toward inpatient care. Oh boy, I am worried as she keeps to her herself regarding symptoms, as she needs to hold things together in order to make a living. I continue to be available when she is ready, I love her very much.

Hello Numarian and welcome to bpdfamily parents

I'm sorry for what brought you here, you are dealing with your son and your daughter, I'm glad you found us, you are not alone.  You've come to the right place for support and learning, we are a friendly bunch, doing the very best we can for our loved ones  :)

You are worried for your DD, how is your 31DD being steered towards in patient care, what does that mean, can you explain? My28DD also kept her struggles to herself till 2 years ago, she's in a better place now building a life that works for her, small steps work.

I'm wondering how you are coping, do you have support from family or friends that you can talk to, people that understand?
