Time to say good bye.

I've thought about engaging in a new and different volunteer opportunity for some time now.  It's finally progressed from mere contemplation to reality. My new volunteer gig is with a wildlife rehab facility, within a wetlands facility by the beach. 

I will be working with furry critters, as well as 2-legged ones with feathers and some 2-legged humans without feathers, .  I made a goal this year to spend less time online. Up until now, that goal was a failure.   This change will lead to new and exciting opportunities and adventure.

Best wishes to one and all!     I'm going to take a break from posting, but I'll likely stop back by at some point in the future and do a little posting.

I can totally relate to the idea of wanting to step away from the all of the electrons that we forcefully inconvenience to do our bidding and carry our messages through cyberspace in favor of spending time with flesh and blood creatures in the real world. 

As the others have said, thank you so much for all of the time and energy that you have put in around here. Your departure will surely create a void and your absence will be noticeable.

I am so happy for you that you are moving on towards a new stage of your life. This sounds like a very healthy step you are taking. I so much understand it (remember when I told you something similar).

It's with tears in my eyes that I wanted to tell you that you have been a true inspiration for me here. THANK you so much for all of the wise advise. I will never forget that. You have been a comfort and an example to me.
