Title: Mad at you for loving them.
Post by: FantasticMsDox on April 22, 2017, 06:56:12 PM
Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has had this experience with their ex or SO. Has your BPD loved one ever got angry at you for continuing to love them?

I ask because I was thinking about stuff my ex has done. And I remember years ago when she had told me she "met someone else" she had wrote a letter to me on Tumblr saying how she had never loved me and how she was angry at me that I still loved her dispite everything that she had done to me. Is behavor like this part of the lashing out due to shame? Or perhaps a byproduct of he shame/guilt?

Thanks!

One time my exBPD told me that I scared her. I asked her why. She said, because one time you told me that you would never give up on us.

You would think most people would appreciate that kind of dedication.

I think it made her mad that I didn't make it easy for her to leave after I was devalued.
