Title: Indirectly contacting me through a mutual friend Post by: alwayswrong4 on April 26, 2017, 03:08:48 AM 6 months post b/u and 5 months since I started NC. In that 5 month NC period she's contacted me and showed up 4 or 5 times... Now she's Funneling information Indirectly through my employees wife whom she really has no business talking to anymore now that she's moved a 1000 miles away.
The most recent indirect contact came about 3 days ago... she randomly asked my employees wife to facetime on snapchat... where she told her that she wasaid "over me" but not dating anyone... and she wanted to know about a business I own... 1000 miles away and she still can't stop... .should I expect this kind of stuff to increase? I think she still loves me, sadly I still love her. I think if I just keep up my NC then this is going to come to a boiling point... I no longer feel bad about her... though when my employees wife told me she talked to her... I found myself near fainting... it's so weird Hi alwayswrong4, Yes it sounds like she my be reaching out indirectly, and likely grieving the loss of the relationship the best way she knows how. Whether she directly contacts you are not, how do you feel? Do you want to talk to her? Do you want to discuss anything with her? Is there anything to discuss? If she is 1000 miles away why do you feel like she has any control over you? Sounds like she can't do much... You are in control of how you feel, and you can keep NC if you choose too! Why are you NC? It sounds like you feel helpless. I sure did and used NC to protect myself from the emotional abuse. Marti |
