Title: Trying To Leave - For The Final Time Post by: Ihavetogo on June 01, 2017, 12:25:39 PM I've been in a tumultuous relationship with a woman I believe has BPD. We have broken up then got back together numerous times. This time it is for good. I thought maybe I could learn to live with her up and down behaviour; but I just can't any longer.
I have to go. However, when trying to look for another place to live, she has taken the house keys. She owns the condo and we have been living together and my clothes and belongings are in the condo. I'm afraid that I won't be able to get back in to retrieve my things after I come back from looking for a place. I also have to pick up medication today, and don't know if I'll be able to get back in. It's not as if I can afford a hotel or have anyplace to go just yet. Right now, I'm thinking I'll just have to stay in the spare bedroom and never leave, for fear of not being able to get back in. this is a tricky situation and it sounds like you feel stuck between a rock and a hard place. However, when trying to look for another place to live, she has taken the house keys. can you elaborate here? is she aware of your intention to end the relationship, or to find a new place? do you have friends or family aware of your situation? *welcome* I'd like to join once removed and welcome you to the site, I'm sorry to hear that you're going through a difficult time. Can you give us a little back story? Did something happened between you and your pwBPD that made you decide to leave? |
